About the Training

Rapid Reduction Technique®, which is becoming increasingly evidence-based, can assist clients in moving from a position of reliving a memory into a position of revisiting the memory as an empowered observer. Once the emotional and physical pain are symbolically removed from the trauma or loss memory, clients are better able to work, without becoming overwhelmed by the associated pain, on therapeutically resolving the impact of their past trauma on their present functioning.

Treating psychological trauma, including those related to domestic violence and childhood abuse, can be very complex. This training will provide you with the knowledge of issues contributing to the development of trauma and loss reactions, and the barriers which impede clients’ recovery. This didactic, demonstration and practice will help you build knowledge, confidence and proficiency in utilizing this highly effective technique. This training will also underline the importance of remaining cognizant of and treating within the Codes of Ethics identified by our professional organizations.
